Role Expectations:
This is a role that reports to the General Counsel and has broad coverage and ownership of all legal aspects in relation to Drip’s products and business lines across India, the US, and Mexico and includes:

Drafting and reviewing various contracts/agreements/Mo Us/financing documents
Supporting the research and evaluation of different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations
Provide recovery-related support (court cases, international arbitration, across India, the US, and Mexico)
Understanding and carrying out research on licensing & regulatory requirements for current products as well as supporting the launch of new products
Provide support to business and compliance teams on data protection laws and accountability and governance requirements
Provide support for all aspects of M&A activity, including structuring, due diligence, documentation, and closing

Our Checklist:

LLB with 7-10 years of relevant work experience
Previous work in-house at a financial services company preferred
Practical and business-first but with good judgment
Good communication and coordination skills
Ownership, autonomy, and willingness to learn are highly valued at Drip Capital
