Ltd. supports business process, information technology and knowledge process across Consumer Banking, Wealth, Card and Home Loans, Legacy Asset Servicing, Global Banking and Markets, and Global Wealth and Investment Management lines of business at Bank of America.

Process Overview
This position will play the role of a technology manager leading one or more functions of the Wealth Management Technology group.

Job Description
The individual will work on overseeing the design/ development for critical functions in WMT and be accountable to deliver key initiatives from India.
Drive solutions through design, develop, test, enhance, debug, support, maintain and test Business tier applications that support business unit or supporting functions using modern tech like Java/.NET and should have some exposure to mainframe technology. Participate in design, development, and implementation of complex business applications, particularly in the context of modernization that will cater to current and future business need & growth. Should be well versed with the modern tech landscape including emerging technologies, tools and products that will enable the modernization journey. Provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives. This role will a lead of approximately 100 technologists in the bank.

Responsibilities

Oversight of delivery on key programs from India
Day to day people management and contributing into the defining the strategic direction of wealth management technology.
Manage proficient techies on distributed tech stack: Java, .NET, Angular/React, Kafka, Cockroach DB, Spring boot.
Collaborate with partner teams like production support and testing.
Work with US and India teams to solve impediments during India hrs.
Experience with Requirements Analysis and Documentation
Work Experience in Agile methodology
Good Communication Skills and experience working in a diverse team.

Requirements

Education : B.E / B. Tech / MCA
Experience Range - 20+ years of experience in Mainframe related tech stack with extensive experience to modernize mainframe platforms.

Mandatory skills

Should demonstrate strong tech experience.
Candidate should establish experience in managing a wealth management function, preferably in a GCC setup.
Deep Experience in Java or .NET Technologies
Some experience on modern tech like KAFKA, Spark, Scala, AIML, Gen AI.
Proficiency in Agile methodology with proficient technology orientation
Good Communication Skills and Experience working in a diverse team.

Desired skills

Ability to work in cross-functional and multi-location teams
Some experience on mainframe Tech in COBOL, VSAM, CICS, DB2, IMS
Excellent communication skills, motivated collaborator & strong interpersonal skills
Ability to take on tasks independently and see them to completion
Ability to work on a multi-tasking environment within a strict timeline
Domain experience in Finance and Banking, Insurance and Retail.
Candidates with previous experience in Merrill Lynch / Bof A Investment banking domain knowledge platform preferred.

Work Timings - 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM
