Events Specialist (Indonesia)
Maker Lab supports clients across technology, entertainment, financial services and the payments industry. We’re looking for dynamic individuals to join our team and support our amazing clients in the tech industry.
The role of an Events and Experiences Specialist is to support the Events and Experiences team in driving the overall delivery and management of key moments ranging from campaigns and public activations to internal meetings. The specialist will have sole responsibility for a project, or part responsibility for a larger project, from brief to execution. This includes unpacking the project brief, scoping the project and allocating the necessary resources and budget and ensuring that all work (from creative concepts to logistics and technical) delivers against agreed objectives and surpasses project expectations.

The role of an Events and Experiences Specialist is to support the Events and Experiences team in driving the overall delivery and management of key moments ranging from campaigns and public activations to internal meetings. This includes unpacking the project brief, scoping the project and allocating the necessary resources and budget and ensuring that all work (from creative concepts to logistics and technical) delivers against agreed objectives and surpasses project expectations.
Role:
- Oversee all or certain aspects of event & experience management and production from content and program development, creative and design, AV production, vendor management, logistics, invitations, sponsorships, promotions, and more.
- Depending on the scale of the project, run and oversee or support project meetings, timelines, action items/ deliverables, and budgets throughout all projects and events.
- Build and maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships, including agency partners, for the assigned program (clear communication on expectations, responsibilities, schedule, status/AIs, etc.), and ensure that needs are heard, understood, and addressed in a timely way
- Be a team player, assist the broader team on larger projects, including event production team logistics, running team meetings and project management efforts as needed
You:
- Someone with at least 3 years of experience in all aspects of event management, whether in-house or at an event agency.
- Strong track record of success in events project management: manage, plan, organise, and execute a wide range of successful events from inception to completion, within budget
- Excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to oversee multiple events concurrently in a timely and accurate manner
- Ability to maintain positive relationships with agencies, colleagues and suppliers
- Regional/international event management experience
- This is a fully remote role. Candidate should be open to traveling within the SEA region as required
- Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills and - ideally - fluent in another Asian language to cover projects across APAC.
