About the Role
This role is full of variety – here are a few things you could be working on:
Image Annotation:

• Accurately annotate images of phytoplankton and categories as specified by the project guidelines.
• Use annotation tools and software to label images with high precision and consistency.

Quality Assurance:

• Review and validate annotations to ensure they meet quality standards and project specifications.
• Perform regular checks to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in annotated data.

Data Management:

• Organize and maintain annotated datasets, ensuring data integrity and proper documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve any data-related issues and provide feedback on the annotation process.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with data scientists, lab analysts, and other stakeholders to understand annotation requirements.
• Participate in training sessions and meetings to stay updated on project changes and annotation best practices.

Compliance:

• Adhere to project protocols, confidentiality agreements, and data protection regulations.

About you

• Diploma, fresh graduates, or equivalent; higher education in a relevant field (e.g., biology, computer science) is a plus.
• Previous experience in image annotation or data labeling is preferred.
• Familiarity with phytoplankton or related fields (e.g., marine biology, environmental science) is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of phytoplankton morphology and classification is a plus.
• Comfort with using computers and software applications.
• Own a laptop for image annotation.
• Ability to handle and organize large datasets effectively.
• Availability to work 8 hours per day (Monday - Friday) and min of 3 days working from the office.
• Ability to handle repetitive tasks with high accuracy and efficiency.
