- Install, uninstall, and configure host servers for virtualization environments, with a strong emphasis on VMWare.
- Perform patching and upgrades of virtualization servers ensuring they are up to date and secure.
- Monitor the capacity and performance of both physical and virtual server resources within the virtualization environment.
- Execute server cloning processes from production to UAT, following the RFC (Request for Change) process.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to server virtualization, with a focus on VMWare.
- Provide first-level support for virtualization-related problems, offering timely and effective solutions.
- Provide second-level support for Data Center operations, with an emphasis on VMWare and Storage systems.
- Support project environments such as Development (Dev), System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Assist in the implementation and execution of Disaster Recovery (DR) plans.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in managing virtualization server environments.
- Strong expertise in VMWare virtualization technology, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with storage systems, especially in the context of virtualization (preferred experience with SAN/NAS).
- Proficient in performing patching and upgrades for virtualization servers, with a focus on VMWare.
- Solid understanding of server capacity planning and performance monitoring in virtualized environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve virtualization server issues effectively.
- Knowledge of data center operations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
