Swinford Motors Group celebrating over 50 years in business and the Number 1 car retailer in Mayo wish to recruit an experienced and dynamic professional to join our Accounts Department. The role will suit a candidate who is a qualified accounts technician or has equivalent experience.
Responsibilities:

• Maintaining accurate books of accounts, posting transactions;
• Bookkeeping, Accounts Payable, Receivable, bank reconciliations, and general financial administration
• Process nominal ledger transactions and prepare monthly and yearly trial balances
• Preparation and filing of VAT VIES RTD returns
• Purchase Invoice processing and maintenance of accounts payable ledger
• Credit control
• Assistance in preparation of management reports
• Liaising with Revenue, Toyota Ireland and corporate accounts

The successful candidate will have:
· Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a similar role
· The ability to work within a team but also to work on your own initiative
· The ideal candidate will be analytical and have excellent attention to detail
· Experience in a progressive commercial environment
· Excellent communication and team working skills

• Ability to prioritise and proactively manage workload and solve problems

· Strong integrity and ability to maintain confidential information

• Excellent computer skills, strong experience and proficiency in Excel and a good working knowledge of accounts packages such as Intact, Sage Line 50, Quickbooks or similar accounting packages
• Self-starter with experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail
