Aftersales Shared Services Manager
Gowan Auto, is a member of the family-owned holding company, the Gowan Group, and the exclusive importer, and distributor of Alfa Romeo, Citroën, DS Automobiles, Fiat, Fiat Professional, Honda, Jeep, Opel, and Peugeot new passenger cars, light commercial vehicles and spare parts in the Republic of Ireland.
We are seeking to recruit an Aftersales Shared Services Manager.
This role is responsible for all aspects of the Aftersales business in Shared Services across all Gowan Auto Brands which includes parts procurement, parts logistic, customer care for retail and fleet customers, warranty and recalls and technical training. The successful candidate will ensure that the Aftersales team in Shared Service continuously delivers the highest level of satisfaction to its network of nationwide authorised Dealers, retail customers across all brands and to our fleet, lease and hire customers. This position is responsible for managing 45 people in the internal team, including 7 Line Managers, in addition to a number of critical 3rd party suppliers to Gowan Auto.
Core Responsibilities:
· Meet key performance indicators and targets across the aspects of the aftersales business in shared services.
· To ensure the company business plan is met via the procurement and distribution of parts, parts pricing and supplier negotiation, the management of warranty and recalls, aftersales customer care for retail and fleet customers, technical training of Dealer’s staff, and ultimately ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction in line with manufacturer standards. This will be done in conjunction with the line managers of these areas of responsibility.
· Carries out regular, structured reviews to identify development needs and agree objectives, then coaches the team to continually improve their knowledge and skill, enabling them to meet their business targets.
· Focus on continuous improvement of the service levels being provided to the relevant stakeholders.
· Conducts regular review and update meetings with senior team and ensures relevant information is shared with brand Managing Directors and their teams.
· Ensures company standards and policies are adhered to in relation to Health & Safety in the warehouse and training academy.
· Work with the team to continually focus on achieving the highest possible levels of customer satisfaction.
