YOUR ROLE
As a Automation Tester, you will be responsible for end-to-end Automation testing for multiple application under test, including the ability to coordinate contributions of other specialists to complete a joint project. You will implement testing best practices in automation including Cucumber BDD Framework, Selenium, Java, Git Version Control.

Key responsibilities of the role:
Creating and maintaining java-based automation frameworks
Coding and maintain high quality automated tests
Challenge convention testing approaches to ensure effect use of automation.
Follow best practice into the automation testing and governance process.
Be reliable and capable of autonomous work.
Demos for automation scripts integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
Tracking automation projects progress against the plan and reporting variances.
Managing issues and risks affecting the project/team.
Collaborating closely with all stakeholders, to ensure that quality feedback can be given as early and as efficiently as possible in the delivery cycle.
Participating in the project governance process including attendance at relevant steering group and stakeholder meetings.
Identifying and implementing continuous service improvements.

YOUR PROFILE
ISTQB Certified Foundation Tester and Any Agile/automation certification
Industry Java experience with comfortable working knowledge of the language.
Understanding of XML and JSON, and how they are used in SOAP/REST based APIs
Fully proficient in project tracking tools, such as JIRA, GIT etc.
Adaptable to working under a variety of project delivery methodologies, waterfall, Agile (Scrum) and hybrid development model.
Experience interfacing with business owners and users, application development and technical colleagues, testers and all levels of management.
Ability to review automation deliverables for completeness, quality and compliance with project standards.
Understanding of systems architecture and databases, sound grasp of the fundamentals of taxation, from registration through to returns filing and payment options.
