Contract duration: 12 months
This position reports into the Senior Commercial Marketing Lead and is based at our Dublin office (hybrid)

What You Will Do
The Commercial Marketing team is tasked with developing and executing best in class local marketing activation plans grounded in consumer, shopper & customer insight to build sustainable growth and profit.
In conjunction with the Senior Commercial Marketing Lead and the regional brand team, the Commercial Marketing Lead is responsible for the localisation and optimisation of regional integrated marketing campaigns for best-in-class execution in market. This role will work within the Skin and Hair Health Portfolio with sole management for Neutrogena and OGX.
An integral part of the role is the proactive utilisation of data to generate key local insights and direct strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Brand Planning
- Lead the local business planning process for Neutrogena and OGX. Provide upfront input on local requirements and assess relevancy of regional initiatives for Irish market.
- Ensure ongoing implementation of appropriate strategy for Ireland via identification of local need gaps.
- Ensure clear prioritisation on key growth drivers and making choices around appropriate investment levels.
- Set appropriate metrics & objectives and ensure that all activities meet revenue, profit and share expectations.
- Development and implementation of optimum PR and influencer strategy with local agency to drive the beauty and hair agenda including management and coordination of PR and consumer events.
- Responsible for in-depth performance tracking including in market share and internal performance metrics on channel and customer and discuss relevant actions with the Customer Account Management and Regional Marketing Teams respectively
- Provide Regional Marketing Team with competitive information & lead local challenges
- Use data to assess success of previous campaigns/ initiatives and recommend corrective action where necessary
Optimize New Product Development launches
- Accurately size and assess NPD opportunity within Irish market.
- Produce and present engaging retailer sell ins designed to optimize opportunity.
- Devise pricing strategy based on consumer insight and competitive set.
- Monitor and evaluate actual vs targets (across distribution, sales, profit, share) and suggest corrective actions where needed.
Develop and implement Local Activation Plan
- Develop and deploy a local Activation Plan for the brands, based on planned NPI roll-outs and defined strategic brand plans.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and Customer Account Managers to ensure execution of the plan per channel and customer based on local knowledge (trade windows, lead times, key account agreements) and in timely alignment and coordination with consumer facing activation.
- Provide pharmacy and mass sales teams with brand education and relevant detailing material.
- Optimise and/ or challenge local trading strategy providing corrective action where necessary.
- Provide channel teams & customers with best-in-class training, presentational & promotional materials
- Act as marketing lead on local customer initiatives

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- 2-3 years progressive experience within a relevant Marketing/Commercial/Analytic role
- Strong experience in sales and share data analysis. (Experience using Nielsen and Dunnhumby a plus)
- Affinity to operational & customer focused consumer business
