About The Role
Reporting to the CEO and working as a member of the BMAI Senior Leadership Team, the role of the Digital Director is to further the digital transformation of Bauer Media Audio Ireland.
The successful candidate will lead a high-performing team to deliver best-in-class digital products underpinned by innovative and outcome-led content and distribution strategies.
With the customer at the heart of what we do, the Digital Director will make data-informed decisions and support the business in delivering audience insight across all areas of the business. They will bring effective digital marketing leadership delivering performance-driven acquisition and retention strategies to all areas of the business.
They will promote agility, collaboration, and continuous learning so BMAI can keep pace with the speed of change.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with experienced Irish and European colleagues and influence and support the realisation of BMAI ambition and transformation strategy.
What you'll do:

Collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop performance-led digital acquisition and retention strategies to accelerate the growth of our digital audiences and increase their value.
With a design-led mindset, develop BMAI’s digital product portfolio to deepen connections with our audiences and support our data strategy.
Lead the development of a high-performing digital content production team across the business that drives operational efficiencies and accelerates the growth of our digital audiences.
Collaborate with the senior leadership team to design and lead the development of BMAI’s audience insight capability, instilling a culture of data-informed decision-making.
Set the business' goals and develop an OKR framework that defines the digital ambition and measures performance.

If the following traits sound like you, you might be the right person for the job:

Multi-year experience in leadership roles in Digital and Audio
Demonstrated history of successfully designing and executing digital strategies and campaigns.
Proven ability as a digital strategic lead on accounts/projects and in gaining confidence in the editorial space, with the ability to translate strategic thinking into inspirational creative briefs.
Project planning and management – including work scoping, resource planning, stakeholder management / governance.
Proven analytical acuity with the ability to build research plans, transform key data in to meaningful and actionable insights that lead to informed decision-making.
An in-depth working knowledge of cultural trends, digital trends, and strategy planning landscape.
Excellent collaboration, negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to navigate in a matrixed, multi-disciplinary team within the National and European environment.
Experience leading cross functional teams and driving effective change within an organisation.
