Services within Mastercard is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution.

As a senior member of the UK Services BD team, you will be at the frontline of generating excitement and demand for our unique solutions and forming successful lasting client relationships within the Irish Market.

All About the role:

We are looking for a seasoned, top sales performer with entrepreneurial spirit and the ambition of developing a successful services business in Ireland and taking it to the next level. Strategic thinking is core to the success of this role – the deliberate and careful anticipation of opportunities, vulnerabilities, risks and threats. Defining a sales strategy with a clear set of goals, initiatives and plans needed to thrive and survive in competitive and changing business environments.

To be successful the ideal candidate will:

> Track record of building trusted relationships at C-suite level Exhibit strong relationship management skills using consultative skills to create and convert pipeline opportunity in the market.

> Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and expand buying centres, fostering lasting partnerships by developing and communicating clear value propositions.

>Have a strong consultive sales approached focussed on meeting the needs of customers by getting to know them and building a trusting relationship with them

>Excellent stakeholder management skills, with a well-practiced understanding of how to navigate a matrixed environment, strong communicator and leader, skilled at influencing decision makers inside and outside the organisation.

>Be solutions oriented, with a superb attention to detail, forming a deep understanding of the client’s strategic objectives, operations, needs etc.

>Have a customer first attitude, capable of uncovering customer needs and crafting innovative global customer strategies.

>Take ownership of and drive the sales process, from prospecting to executing SOW’s, ensuring a seamless and efficient sales cycles.

>Be responsible for achieving pipeline development, setting and driving sales targets, delivering revenue goals, and sales projections, consistently delivering outstanding personal performance.

>Collaborate closely with other market stakeholders and local account teams members to move qualified pipeline into the sales processes into signed deals.
>Foster a team-orientated environment within the sales group and collaborate effectively with other colleagues across Mastercard to drive collective success

>Lead and nurture a growing sales team with potential members at various levels of seniority
