The Foodhall at UCD village provides food services and Hospitality across the entire of the UCD campus.
As the Events Porter you will be the face of the hospitality team, assembling, delivering and presenting the food and hospitality services to the customer.
Hospitality events cover everything from teas and coffees delivered to meeting rooms, to Wine and canape receptions in any number of the service areas across the campus.
The Events porter role can be demanding and high pressured as every order has to be delivered on time and as expected.
Candidates must have
- An eye for presentation, to make our services look as appealing as possible .
Great interpersonal skills.
Pride in themselves as well as the job you are doing.
Not be afraid to get stuck in.
A solution orientated mindset.
Flexibility - some evening and weekend shifts may be required.
Full drivers licence.
Experience in The hospitality sector preferred but not essentia.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From €13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
