The Role:
As a Front Office Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience for our guests to The Charleville Park Hotel, supervising the front office team
Reporting to: You will report to the Front Office and Reservations Manager.
The Person: We are looking for a friendly and professional individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate should be a team player, possess excellent communication skills, leadership abilities, and have a strong attention to detail.
The Hotel:
Situated in North Cork, on the Limerick boarder, Charleville Park is one of Cork’s finest four-star hotels. Boasting 91 bedrooms and suites, extensive leisure facilities, ample free car parking on site, and complimentary high speed WIFI, Charleville Park Hotel is your ideal base for your next getaway. Our spacious, well-appointed rooms are designed to accommodate families of all sizes, ensuring everyone enjoys a comfortable stay. Key Responsibilities include:
- Assisting the Front Office Manager to ensure the smooth running of the department
- Working on the reception desk, check in, check out and dealing with customer enquiries.
- Handling telephone enquiries for all areas of the hotel.
- Cash handling, taking reservations.
- Offering the highest standard of customer service.
- Using the hotel software system, outlook, excel and word.
- Attention to detail in relation to all admin work
- Ensure you maintain a complete and expert product knowledge of the hotel including pricing, menu options, room capacities, equipment usage in order to best advise the potential customer and maximise yield potential.
- Use of the hotel’s reservations system Hotsoft
- Previous experience working in a hotel reception
- Will be a courteous and focused on providing a consistently high standard of customer service
- Have the ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
- Be flexible with regards to hours
- Have a good command of the English Language
- Have excellent self-presentation
