Carlton Hotel is a luxury 4-star Hotel with a broad clientele base including business clients and Park-Sleep-Fly travellers. We are conveniently located next to the Airport and just five minutes from the M1 and M50.
The Person:
We are currently recruiting for Food & Beverage Assistants on a Casual Basis for our Breakfast Team. You will have very strong interpersonal skills, key to this important customer-facing role. You will be hard-working, have a great attitude, and delight in providing excellent customer service.

Specific responsibilities in this role include:

To be fully familiar with our products and services
To engage in set-up and cleaning of our outlets, as required
Greeting guests with a warm, genuine smile and an engaging manner, to enhance their experience while visiting us
Guiding guests to their table and ensuring that it is to their satisfaction
Providing guests with details of the menu available, including any ‘specials’
Taking guests orders for food and beverages, including noting any dietary requirements, and inputting the details onto the system fully and correctly
Delivering orders to guests, promptly and efficiently
Regularly checking with guests to ensure that everything is to their satisfaction
Referring any issues to a senior member of the Team as soon as possible, if/as required
To ensure that you maintain the highest possible standard of personal hygiene, uniform, appearance, body language, and conduct at all times
To adhere to our health & safety training, policies, and procedures
To ensure that we offer excellent customer service to all our guests at all times

The successful applicant must:

Ideally, have some previous experience within the Hotel / hospitality sector, including delivering food/beverage services
Have a calm, efficient, professional, and organised approach to your work
Demonstrate a willingness to learn, as training will be provided
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with good English competency for this customer-facing role
Demonstrate the highest level of attention to detail
Be comfortable working in a very busy environment
Be able to work as part of a Team or on your own initiative
Have a good standard of health / level of fitness, and be capable of, and comfortable with, physical activity
Be flexible as regards work shifts (as our breakfast service can entail early morning starts - 0530/0600 - and our operation covers Monday to Sunday)

Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

Cloghran, Dublin, CO. Dublin: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
