Purpose of Role
Applicants will report to the Site Foremen, Contracts Managers, and Project Managers. Ideally, candidates should have prior experience in the construction industry, preferably within Ireland. Strong teamwork skills are essential, as the role requires effective coordination with other site members.
Responsibilities:
· Safely operate and maintain construction equipment and machinery, including hand tools, power tools, and site vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
· Assist with general labour tasks on construction sites, including lifting, carrying materials, and site cleanup.
· Transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
· Perform basic labour tasks such as loading and unloading materials, cleaning work areas, and preparing surfaces for roofing.
· Collaborate closely with site members, sub-contractors, and fellow employees to ensure effective communication and coordination on projects.
· Adhere to project timelines and deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks.
· Ensure proper disposal of old materials and debris in compliance with environmental regulations.
· Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
· Maintain a clean and organized work environment, promoting safety and efficiency.
· Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, all ISO standards, QHS standards and industry standards, and regulatory requirements during the procurement process.
· Carry out any other duties as assigned by the site supervisor or project manager.
Requirements:
· Previous experience in construction or a similar labour-intensive role is preferred.
· Basic knowledge of construction processes and tools is advantageous.
· Physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to perform manual labour and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €15.00-€18.00 per hour

• Manual Handling Certificate (preferred)
• Safepass Card (preferred)
