Role Purpose:
This role supports a portfolio of projects and client-related work as part of the HR Enterprise programmes team.
You will support foundational HR programmes, including the roll out of the global HRIS and the Total Rewards Strategy. Additionally, the HRBP will provide dedicated HR support to shared services leaders within the corporate headquarters (‘Group’).
The role will be part of the HR Enterprise Programmes team and report to the HR Director, working closely with the Divisional HR teams and helping to coordinate key HR programmes across the group. We are looking for someone with drive and ambition who will challenge the status quo and help us to build a HR strategy that is innovative, non-bureaucratic and will support our entrepreneurial spirit.
Role Responsibilities
The successful candidate will, among other, perform the following duties and hold the following responsibilities.
- Partnering with the HR team and other key stakeholders to design, develop and roll out key projects and initiatives. These will fall under HR’s key Strategic Pillars of Culture, Talent, Learning and Equity Diversity & Inclusion (EDI), Health and Wellbeing.
- Working across the HR Leadership Team to coordinate programmes of work and activities to ensure interdivisional alignment.
- Be an active change agent, focusing on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, job roles and organisation structures providing direct support and coaching to all management levels.
- Promote and drive a culture of continuous improvement both within the HR function and regarding people related processes within the broader business.
- Partner with the HR Centres of Excellence (Co E’s) in Payroll, Talent & Learning, to improve the full cycle employee experience with regular touchpoints.
- Lead and take ownership of end-to-end employee relations issues.
- Work with the Total Rewards Team Initiatives such as job levelling, job banding, benchmarking, merit increases, bonuses to support the initiatives to bridge any gender pay gaps.
- Contribute to and collate the Gender Pay Gap reporting for the Group.
- Support Compensation & Benefits activities, including year-end cycle, incentive eligibility, data validation, compensation reviews and job evaluations.
- Periodically provide support to acquisition due diligence and integration initiatives.
- Aid Internal and external audits from a HR perspective to verify conformance with contractual requirements.
- Support the development of HR policies and practices that are progressive in nature and will ensure we attract, develop and retain current and future staff.
- Lead and manage effective working relationships with HR third party providers.
- General HR tasks to support the day-to-day operations including but not limited to Contract development, new hire system set up, monthly payroll inputs to Payroll team, PO & Budget management, Action pay Changes, Employee data changes
- Other duties and tasks that maybe assigned from the line manager.
- Masters or Degree in HR, Finance or a business-related discipline.
- 3-5 years’ experience in a HRBP or Co E role.
- Excellent relationship building and communication skills with the ability to move between listening to, guiding and coaching others at all levels.
- Project Management and change management experience is a must.
- Experience developing pragmatic solutions and interventions that have a positive organisational impact.
- Expertise in Irish employment law, experience working across Europe and the US would be beneficial.
- Strong systems knowledge and technical knowhow across a range of applications and processes that improve efficiency and drive enhanced decision making. Workday ERP is a distinct advantage
- Be flexible and willing to take on assignments and projects driven by business need, rolling sleeves up and taking ownership.
