Junior Parts Advisor

Mooney's is an Irish-owned and family-run business dedicated to new and used car sales. The Mooney family has been selling cars on the Long Mile Road in Dublin since 1973. We are Ireland's leading Hyundai dealer for sales, service, and parts. We are also a fully authorised Nissan and Honda parts and service centre. Our second locations in Deansgrange offers a full sales and aftersales service.
We are now seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Junior Parts Advisor. As a Junior Parts Advisor, you will play a crucial role in assisting our customers with their car parts needs, ensuring that they receive the right parts for their vehicles in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:

Assist customers in identifying and selecting the appropriate vehicle parts for their vehicles.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and requests in a professional and courteous manner.
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including ordering and replenishing stock as needed.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure the efficient operation of the parts department.
Utilise computerised systems to process orders, track stock, and manage parts transactions.
Assist with receiving and inspecting incoming orders of parts, ensuring accuracy and quality.
Keep the parts department clean, organised, and presentable at all times.
Stay informed about new vehicle parts, products, and industry trends to better assist customers and improve service offerings.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety regulations and guidelines, at all times.

Requirements:

Leaving Certificate
Full driving licence
Previous experience in a customer service or garage environment is preferred but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Basic computer skills and proficiency in using computerised systems.
Knowledge of vehicle parts and components is a plus.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, as needed.
