RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Innovation

• Collaboration in the design, testing and production of products and devices aiming at solving challenges on sites.
• Modelling components in Solidworks to an acceptable level of fidelity

2. Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting

• Build new approved equipment.
• Repairing and cleaning equipment that comes back from site.
• Calibrating and cleaning sensors used on site.
• Assist site team with troubleshooting equipment remotely or on sites.

3. Site Work

• Work will be 80% in the office and yard and 20% on site.
• Installation of electrical telemetry equipment on site.
• Working with the dewatering team to install telemetry systems.
• Onsite troubleshooting and repairs to telemetry equipment.

4. Equipment Tracking and Material Logging

• Updating Excel sheets with the location of equipment, status and condition.

5. Ordering

• Purchasing approved equipment from an approved supplier to maintain stock and allow for new builds and repairs.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
The candidate should ideally be a recent graduate (0-3 years) of a Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering course (Level 7-8). Experience with plant equipment/machinery, and knowledge of electrical theory and fluid dynamics is highly desirable.
Experience working with any water treatment or automation companies is also highly desirable.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Driving License - A full clean driving license is desirable. A willingness to use a personal vehicle for work is also an advantage. The company will pay for mileage to subsidise fuel costs
• Training and Certificates- SOLAS Safe Pass Card and Manual Handling Certificate are both desirable though not essential. If the right candidate does not have these, we will provide the training.

• Physical and Mental Strength - Be physically and mentally strong with no chronic or acute injury or damage that would impede the successful completion of site work described above, carrying, lifting, opening and closing valves, shoveling, using a variety of tools and equipment, attaching hoses, filters and treatment cartridges.
• Practicality with Problem Solving Attitude - Practical, hands-on approach to handling materials and equipment, and problem-solving using resources to hand.
• Ability to Work With Tools - Hand tools such as wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, saws, gas burners and power tools such as power drills and angle grinders, knowledge of welding is desirable.
• Construction Site Work - Comfortable working on construction sites, following company procedures, working on own as necessary yet part of a dynamic team obtaining good experience enhancing any career.
• Flexibility and Communication - Able to keep pace with dynamic contracting business where priorities require daily assessment and agreement and reporting back on with photos and videos in ‘Dropbox’ or similar. Have a clear, open communication style.
• Organised - Organised and systematic in approach to work.

Pay: €40,000.00-€45,000.00 per year
