Learning & Development Trainer
Contract: Permanent

Previous experience in delivering departmental trainings would be an advantage, but not an essential requirement. Bringing the right attitude, organisational skills and positivity is what we value most. This role will see you deliver trainings in our luxury and urban hotels in Dublin and Cork.
Some key responsibilities of the role include:
- Working closely with the L&D Manager to drive a learning culture within the organisation
- To facilitate company training programmes at the highest standard of learner engagement and evaluate the success of the training delivered
- Ensure learners attend / complete the relevant training within the timeframes required by taking ownership of the Learning Management System (LMS)
- Assess department training sessions to ensure quality of training by reviewing monthly training books and feedback / make recommendations
- Support the People & Culture Managers and hotel leadership teams with their training requirements
- Support the learning away from the classroom to integrate a blended / informal learning theory
- Review, update and where necessary, design and develop training sessions in line with current learning trends
- Represent the learning and development brand and act as an ambassador to learning

- Certified Manual Handling instructor preferred but not necessary
- Experience in training delivery and facilitation with front line colleagues and managers
- Understanding of the hotel industry
- Good IT skills – working level of knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook & Power Point
- Experience of creating online learning and using an LMS preferred but not necessary
