We are looking for a Full Time Leisure Attendant/ Part Time Duty Manager at Aura Tullamore


This role involves working in different areas of the Leisure Centre according to your training and qualifications. This varied role requires you to be a great all-rounder. If you have a Swim Teaching, Lifeguard and/or Fitness qualifications, and want to learn and develop in this industry - this role is for you!

What Your day as a Leisure Attendant will look like:
Display a commitment to our vision, purpose and values
Ensure a fun and inclusive environment for our customers
Maintain a high standard of customer service
Deliver the highest standards of classes (Swim, Fitness or both) that will motivate and inspire our members
Provide valuable feedback to our members to help them develop their skills and achieve their goals
Adhere to our Healthy and Safety policies and procedures at all times
Ensure excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Be an Aura ambassador and represent the company with a professional approach and attitude


What Your day as a Duty Manager will look like:

• Behave as a role model for everyone
• Display a commitment to our vision, purpose and values
• Maintain a high standard of customer service
• Operate your shift to ensure all areas are covered and duties are completed
• Supervise and co-ordinate staff, and ensure that everything gets done
• Performance manage and mentor the team to ensure excellent operational standards
• Deliver the highest standards of health and safety adhering to our policies and procedures at all times
• Ensure effective communication in relation to the operation and day-to-day running of the centre
• Be an Aura ambassador and represent the company with a professional approach and attitude

Here's what the successful candidate will look like:
Hold the following qualifications:

• RLSS Pool Lifeguard or IWS Pool Lifeguard Qualification

and either both or one of the following qualifications:

• STA, IWS or SI Swim Teacher qualifications
• NCEHS / NCEF Fitness Instructor Qualification

A passion for the health and fitness industry
A willingness to train and qualify in all three disciplines listed above
A positive attitude and a genuine passion for helping people
Previous experience in instructing classes (Swim, Fitness or both) is desirable
Flexible in relation to your hours/days of work
Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills
Must be able to prioritise multiple tasks based on the needs of our business
A positive, results oriented and driven attitude and a willingness to learn and improve
Strong IT Skills (Microsoft Excel and Word)
