Responsibilities:
- Maintain control accounts, schedules and reconciliations
- Assist in preparation and completion of monthly performance reporting pack for management team
- Preparing weekly and monthly bank and credit card reconciliations and maintaining weekly forecast cashflow files
- Assist in maintaining and updating the general ledger by recording transactions accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist in preparing financial statements and year end audit process
- Completion of monthly management accounts up to Trial Balance.
- Prepare initial tax returns for VAT, RCT, CT, for UK and Ireland
- Continue to improve internal systems & controls
- Utilize accounting software and other financial tools proficiently to streamline processes and maintain accurate records
Key Competencies
- Newly/Part qualified ACA, ACCA, CPA, or similar.
- Experience in construction/ manufacturing industry
- Microsoft office experience is essential. Strong IT skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with COINS ERP system an advantage
