Aviva Life & Pensions is looking for a PMO Analyst to join the Project Management Office (PMO) which sits within the Transformation team based in Dublin. We are interested in hearing from you if are keen to progress your career in PMO and support a portfolio of key strategic programmes. You will work directly with the Senior PMO Analyst and Head of Transformation to support the oversight of the delivery of the portfolio of change programmes.

Scope of responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Benefits & Costs: Benefit tracking to highlight variances to benefits defined in the business case.
Costs: Production of monthly actual costs reports including accruals and budget management to support decision making. Support the Senior PMO Analyst and Finance PM in the programme forecasting lifecycle.
Resources: Monthly & quarterly portfolio resource planning to proactively forecast bottlenecks to allow early resolution and allow orderly roll-off of resources across programmes.
Updating and maintaining the Risk Log, Action Log, Decisions Log and Issue Register.
Committee Reporting:
Supporting the collation of a portfolio level view for the Transformation Committee. Recording of Transformation Committee Minutes, Actions & Decisions.
Programme Support: Providing training, specialist advice and programme management as necessary across the portfolio as well as support to the Project Managers to update the Planview system with programme data.
Oversight: Promoting and championing the Aviva Change Framework and promoting adherence across the portfolio.
Act as the Risk Champion for the Transformation team ensuring that the risk and control environment for the change delivery risk is monitored in a timely manner, in line with prescribed timelines. Collating data as required for any 2nd Line Risk and Internal Audit reviews.
Collate programme mandatory documents & sign-offs across programmes in central PMO repository.
Support the Senior PMO Analyst to carry out their responsibilities.

Skills & Experience:

Project management qualification ideal/desirable.
Personable, pro-active, professional with a desire to grow your experience across a variety of projects and activities.
Experience working in a project management office desirable, or interaction in another capacity, exposing you to the skills outlined below.
Experience of project, programme, and portfolio reporting.
Excellent stakeholder management.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Power Point and Excel.
Excellent attention to detail.
Experience of resource and cost budgeting and forecasting.
Understanding and experience of managing risks, issues and interdependencies as they relate to projects.

Competencies

BS degree desirable (Business / Accounting / IT)
Project Management Qualification desirable
