Overview of role:
The Radiography Administrator (Diagnostic Scheduling) will be part of an integrated team across our UPMC healthcare services that will simplify Access to Care for our patients. The successful candidate will be expected to operate with agility and diligence to ensure the success of the Access to Care team in the furtherance of our mission of bringing life changing medicine to all the patients and communities for whom we are privileged to serve. We are looking for a candidate with healthcare experience who is service-minded and is driven to help others and make the patient experience as straightforward as possible. The candidate will be a team-player who is adaptable, responsive and learning-minded in a fast paced environment. They will be organised in their approach and competent in the use of technology to facilitate a collaborative and effective way of working.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Work in our Diagnostics Radiology Scheduling Team
Be responsible for handling all telephone queries relating to Diagnostic Scheduling and dealing with them in a timely and courteous manner.
Be responsible for the timely scheduling of all Diagnostic Radiology appointments, including MRI, PET CT, Ultrasound, CT and Dexa appointments.
Using multiple IT Programmes. RIS Activision is the main booking system for appointments , reports and referral management.
Payment management via Medserv.
Beam is used for TX of Images. Proficiency in MS Outlook & Share Point an advantage. Have excellent attention to detail, and ability to use the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
Have excellent communication skills, and be able to demonstrate these skills with our patients and multidisciplinary team.
Be able to multitask in a demanding role working with a wider team.
Be responsible for confidentiality of patient information at all times.

Qualifications & Experience:
12 months experience in a similar role or healthcare setting
Business/Secretarial Qualification
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Experience of healthcare systems including RIS Activision & Beam.
