Job Overview:
Working within a Locum Healthcare Recruitment industry, the Recruitment consultant sources the ideal candidate and then supports the candidate through the onboarding process end-to-end. The consult ensures that we comply with our defined onboarding compliance activities and adheres to all necessary regulatory responsibilities and to assists the candidate in taking necessary corrective action when areas of non-compliance are encountered.
The Recruitment Consultant is responsible for growing our database of temporary workers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and attracting specialist nurses and general nurses in line with the needs of the business. The onboarding Consultant ensures that pre-hire checks are conducted in the most efficient way, to enable us to make a candidate deployable to a client without delay. You will help to ensure we deliver a positive worker experience as they work through the onboarding process and become deployed to clients.
Job Description
Your Role(s):
  • Daily Placement of appropriate staff within NHS & home care packages
  • Managing and dealing with individual care requests from our clients
  • Understanding difference between staffing pool (Clinical Nurses, Mental Health Nurse, Specialist Nurses, General Health Carer workers & Mental Health support workers)
  • Sourcing candidates using various methods such as job portals, website registrations and build your own network (pipeline of specialist candidates).
  • Managing and updating individual client rotas being sure to share with clients in advance.
  • Ensure allocated packages have 100% fill rates.
  • Market job vacancies and develop job postings, job descriptions and position requirements.
  • Case managing and updating allocated care packages.
  • Document Management (Making sure allocated packages all have required clinical document and other related documents in client’s homes)
  • Logical approach to evaluating candidate skills & experience to ensure that candidates meet the required competency level for vacancies and proposed role placements.
  • Immediately reporting any form of concern/incident to the complaints team
  • Attending virtual meetings as directed by the Team Manager
  • Exceptional telephone manners and quality Customer Service support to clients and field staff
Objectives:
  • Achieving the company business plan of 95% of hours filled.
  • Deliver an industry leading level of service to our clients, achieving a team target of 95% of all calls being answered within 10 seconds and review and action all incoming emails within 10 minutes.
  • Ensure welfare is at the heart of everything we do through identifying all safeguarding concerns at the earliest opportunity, reviewing package documents, and discussing progress with workers via telephone and documented in writing.
What is expected of you?
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting desired but not essential.
  • Good communication skills- the ideal candidate can manage and communicate information clearly and concisely to line managers, colleagues, and database workers.
  • Good telephone skills – rapport building, persuasive and able to control calls effectively.
  • The ability to work quickly, accurately, and consistently under pressure.
  • Great organization skill and strong attention to detail
  • Time Management/ Prioritizing skills
  • Client management - Building continuous relationships with existing and new clients.
  • Ensure Emails are read and actioned appropriately.
  • Read and File daily reports from candidates, report any possible safeguarding concerns or complaints to relevant team.
  • Attend to other team queries that are relevant to your work e.g., payroll, compliance, complaints, clinical lead etc.
