We are currently seeking highly-motivated Residential Support Workers to join our Adult Services team in Ennis Co. Clare.

Contract Type: Permanent relief positions available.
Contract Hours: Hours Negotiable
Salary Scale: €32,639 to €39,449 pro rata per annum.
Annual Leave Entitlement: 30 days pro rata per annum

Overview of the Post:
The purpose of the role is to provide support services to adults with physical disabilities in a community home setting. This post will involve working across two community houses in Ennis and Ruan area and will require working shifts covering day, evening, weekend and overnight support.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to the empowerment of people with disabilities working as part of a team through a person centered approach and will work with service owners in accessing social and recreational activities in the community and assisting with all aspects of daily living in their residential service.

The successful candidate will have
Essential Criteria:
  • Minimum Full QQI level 5 course or equivalent
  • Full clean driver’s licence and willingness to drive service transport.
  • 1 years’ experience working with adults with disabilities
  • Good IT skills

Desirable Criteria:
  • Experience working with adults in a residential service setting.
  • Experience of working in community setting.
