What you'll be doing

• Transform business opportunities into actionable analytical products that drive strategic decisions.
• Design innovative analytical solutions and develop robust algorithms to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
• Oversee the delivery of production analytical solutions throughout various stages of the development lifecycle, adhering to industry best practices.
• Create and maintain experimental notebooks, production pipelines, and dashboards tailored to project needs and assigned tasks.
• Define and document solution requirements in compliance with internal governance standards.
• Foster and enhance a data science culture and strategy that positions BT Sourced as a leader in AI within the procurement industry.

The skills you'll need

• Experience: 5+ years in a Data Science role with a proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions in a business context.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong expertise in machine learning frameworks and the development of end-to-end ML pipelines.
  • Demonstrated experience in prompt engineering and deploying generative AI models.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.
• Analytical Skills: Experience with A/B testing and experimental design methodologies.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a strong aptitude for working in cross-functional teams.
