Role Description:
SE Systems are seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources and Communications Manager to join our team. The HR and Communications Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes, ensuring alignment with our business goals. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a deep understanding of HR functions, including talent management, employee relations, recruitment, performance management, compensation and benefits, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment and Talent Acquisition: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract, retain, and promote a diverse workforce. Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication, resolving employee conflicts, and implementing programs to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Performance Management: Oversee the performance management process, including setting objectives, conducting performance appraisals, and providing guidance and support to managers in addressing performance issues.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Manage the company’s compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, promotions, and benefits administration. Ensure that compensation and benefits packages are competitive and aligned with industry standards.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and changes in legislation.
  • Training and Development: Identify training and development needs and create or coordinate professional development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • HR Policies and Procedures: Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures to reflect best practices and legal requirements. Communicate policies and procedures to employees and ensure consistent application across the organization.
  • Data and Reporting: Maintain HR metrics and reports, analyse data to identify trends, and provide insights and recommendations to senior management for decision-making purposes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree or HR certification preferred).
  • 10 years + of experience in human resources management, with a proven track record in HR strategy, employee relations, and talent management.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
