Senior Parts Advisor

We are now seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Parts Advisor in our Sandyford Aftersales Department. As a Senior Parts Advisor, you will play a crucial role in assisting our customers with their car parts needs, ensuring that they receive the right parts for their vehicles in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in identifying and selecting the appropriate vehicle parts for their vehicles.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and requests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including ordering and replenishing stock as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure the efficient operation of the parts department.
- Utilise computerised systems to process orders, track stock, and manage parts transactions.
- Assist with receiving and inspecting incoming orders of parts, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Keep the parts department clean, organised, and presentable at all times.
- Stay informed about new vehicle parts, products, and industry trends to better assist customers and improve service offerings.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety regulations and guidelines, at all times.
- 1-2 Years Experience
- Leaving Certificate
- Full driving licence
- Previous experience in a customer service or garage environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in using computerised systems.
- Knowledge of vehicle parts and components is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, as needed.
