The opportunity for you

As an SAP Senior Leader, with the skills to help clients meet the challenges of digitization, you will be using your know-how, creativity and analytical powers to lead our SAP teams and help them to solve clients’ most sophisticated business problems and help their companies do more! You’re as comfortable leading projects as you are diving into the details of workstreams and configuring SAP solutions. And you possess the communication and people skills to inspire teams!

& responsibility

• Lead and Support commercial activities related to SAP
• Responsible for leading Accenture SAP teams in client engagements.
• Ensures PMO teams have the appropriate governance structure in place to ensure successful project delivery.
• Ensures all areas have appropriate and achievable plans in place and timelines can be met.
• Ensures risks and issues are effectively mitigated or resolved.
• Responsible for reporting and escalating issues to Business Stakeholders where Programme Timeline / Quality etc. may be impacted.
• Attends Steering committee, Change control board and any other governance meetings as required.
• Develop positive relationships with clients and gain the trust of key advisors
• Make the business case for the latest SAP technologies recommended to the client
• Pitch in on sales efforts when needed
• Continue to learn and develop your technical SAP and business expertise
• Support with Request for Proposals (RFP’s)

Qualifications & experience:

• 10+ years in large-scale system delivery
• Experienced Project / Programme Mgr, used to leading large team of combined onshore / offshore resources
• Experience in detailed project planning, monitoring and reporting, including metrics measuring earned value
• SAP Delivery experience in different industries and functions
• Comfortable in working between the business and the technology functions for clients
• Used to working in the full Software Delivery Lifecycle, leading teams to:
• Define business requirements for the systems delivery
• Functional Design for all new customisations
• Technical Design for new customisations
• Configurations of SAP functionality
• Build of new customisations
• Defining Test Strategy, and running test cycles from initial integration test through to UAT
• Defining Data Strategy, defining targets for each mock conversion and designing metrics to report on progress
• Deployment for each release, including detailed cutover planning
• Post Go-Live Support / Hypercare
• Experience in RFP responses for new clients
• Experience in project commercials, for both new proposals, and ongoing project commercial
