We are Mooney's Hyundai, an Irish-owned and family-run business dedicated to new and used car sales. We have been serving customers on the Long Mile Road in Dublin since 1973, and we pride ourselves on our quality, value, and service.
We are seeking a Service Advisor Support to join our growing team at our Longmile Rd location. This is a unique opportunity to work in a back-of-house role that involves service coordination, customer communication, technical understanding, and record keeping. You will be working closely with our Service Manager, Warranty Department, and service advisors to ensure a seamless and efficient service process for our customers.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar Service Advisor role, as well as effective communication, multitasking, organisational, and computer skills. You will also need to have a good technical knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and repairs and be able to communicate them clearly to both the service team and the customers. You will also need to be able to start immediately, as this role requires an urgent fill.

Key Responsibilities:
- Service Coordination: Manage service appointments, liaise with customers via phone and email, providing them with suitable booking times.
- Coordinate with the parts department to ensure timely availability of parts required for repairs and services prior to contacting customer with booking date.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate service records, including customer information, vehicle details, and service histories.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with service technicians, parts department, and other service advisors to ensure a seamless and efficient service process.
- Elevated level of organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar Service Advisor role
- Skills:
- Strong communication skills with a professional and friendly demeanour.
- Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced work environment.
- Proficiency in using automotive service software and other relevant tools.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
