About the Job
Our Service Desk Engineers are essential to the running of Bar One Racing. They are the are the oil for the cogs of our business and make sure we run as smoothly as possible. Even more importantly they support our in shop team members in all that they do with our various systems. The job will involve speaking to our shop teams, understanding their needs and processing their requests and tickets as well as providing tips and tricks for the upkeep of all our in shop hardware. Your tasks will include:
* Proactively monitor our network and betting shop services with a variety of tools, including
o Zabbix
o Atlassian Jira software
o PRTG network monitor
* Monitor and respond to incoming calls, chats and tickets from our staff, to assist with all technical matters on a variety of systems
o EPOS tills
o Information displays
o Telephone system
o Live TV & video streams
Skills and Knowledge Required
* A strong knowledge of Windows operating system & Microsoft 365
* set up users and computers onto our network for a variety of uses
* Methodical and analytical approach to problem solving
* Ability to work under pressure
* Ability to prioritise issues
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to work in a team
