We are looking for a committed, customer-focused Shop Assistants to join our team at Applegreen/Pottery Service Station, based on Rochestown Avenue, Dun Laoghaire (Kill-O'The-Grange area).
We are looking for a part-time candidate (21 hours per week approx.) The successful candidate must be available to for shifts on Monday and Thursday mornings (7am-2pm), as well as one other shift per week between 7am and 9pm, Monday to Sunday.
This is a fixed-term position for a period of 3 months. Hours will be rostered on a weekly basis in advance.
Previous work experience in a petrol station shop/convenience store would be advantageous but is not required.
Roles & Responsibilities

• Providing excellent customer service and assistance at till/deli
• Stocking of shelves and replenishing of stock as required/directed by Shop Manager
• Cleaning and tidying shop (incl. tidying shelves, wiping down surfaces, general cleaning) ensuring excellent standards of hygiene and cleanliness
• Maintaining forecourt area ensuring it is consistently clear, clean and tidy
• Making sandwiches/preparing food for customers in line with HACCP and Health & Safety standards
• Remaining vigilant at all times to ensure security of shop assets and stock
• Other duties as required by the Shop Manager/Management

Role Requirements

• Shop/Deli experience advantageous, but not required
• Fluency in English
