Powered by transformation research in APC, VLE Therapeutics Ltd was formed to extend the value chain and deliver science and digital led manufacturing of Vaccines and Advanced Therapeutics. VLE Therapeutics will support the GMP manufacturing of clinical and commercial vaccines, next generation biologics & advanced therapeutics and aims to transform the time and cost associated to produce medicines for our clients. This will be the first Irish-owned facility expressly designed to provide Ireland and Europe with a local supply chain for these critical medicines.
To create the best client experience, we will create & implement a seamless handover process from APC process development into GMP manufacturing, leveraging our novel platforms to deliver a Molecule-2-Market accelerator.
Stage 1 – At our current APC facility, we are constructing a new state of the art biomanufacturing facility. Operations will employ cutting edge technology including single use equipment & disposables and deploy digital solutions to support the best client experience.
Stage 2 – In parallel, we are planning the development of a bespoke 80,000ft2. Greenfield GMP manufacturing facility, which will provide a world-class platform for the manufacture of a wide range of vaccines next generation biologics & advanced therapeutics for our clients globally.

Position Summary
A key member in supporting the execution of c GMP Supply Chain operational activities in VLE Therapeutics' manufacturing facility.
Responsible for managing all activities within the site stores area whilst supporting a proactive strategy to improve them, ensuring an optimum balance between cost and customer service to our site and clients.
Part of a high performing team, managing the flow of materials through the supply chain in order to provide high quality products and on-time delivery to our customers, while supporting the continuing development of the supply chain.
This person will also have responsibility for identifying and managing continuous improvement projects along with ‘hands on’ daily activities in support of the changing needs of the business.
Role Description:

Some experience with manufacturing IT systems , training will be provided.
Be somewhat computer literate particularly with Microsoft applications.

Must be able to work on their own initiative with strong problem solving and decision-making ability.
Must be able to liaise effectively with all levels of the organization and with customers. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral essential.
Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements.
Ensure Quality and EHS policies and procedures are always adhered to.Any other duties as required from time to time by your manager.
High Level Responsibilities :
Main point of contact for stores area onsite – Goods in / out
Managing logistics & couriers inbound & outbound.
Receipt in accounts system and inform site when project deliveries arrive.
Support general site activities.
Work with shipping specialist to co-ordinate inbound & outbound shipments including generation of paperwork.
Material management – kanban inventory control , cycle counts , e-scan
On the job tasks:
Manage front desk for stores – point of contact for all inbound deliveries & handover to project teams or store in appropriate areas.
Engage with Labs, Operations, Facilities, Maintenance, HR & Quality on all topics related to stores and attend Site Tiers as required to ensure communication flows onsite cross functional.
Maintain KANBAN system for generic site consumables within the stores area.
Identify and take ownership for updating / implementation of new SOP’s required for the stores area as necessary.
Perform cycle counting process for inventory in stores locations.
Compile the Weekly Req requirements for stores kanban items and work with procurement specialist with ordering.
Manage the waste management process onsite, order, sign doc, create PO’s, File for EHS, maintain waste area for site.
Ensure lift lobby is kept free from materials and tidy at all times. Escalate any non-conformance to Supply Chain Lead if issues arise.
Manage the E Scan system for reagents and chemicals and maintain min / max inventory levels for site. Work with vendor to troubleshoot any issues.
Receipt all deliveries to site on accounts system
LOG 34 and other relevant receipt logs required to be maintained onsite
File all account / invoice documents in corresponding folders
Working with site maintenance team, Manage disposal of APC waste stream (cardboard, Cool boxes etc).
Through our Lean Excellence program onsite , support in implementing change, improving, and developing new processes as required to provide better services to our internal customers.
Support any Ad hoc requests by colleagues across site
Attend Site Tiers as required to ensure communication flows onsite cross functional.
Any other duties as required by line management.
Experience and Education:
Some formal education.
Some experience in field of warehouse and logistics management
