DevOps, Cloud Engineer - possibility of full remote ( Italy only )

You may work in hybrid mode at the Lucca or Salerno offices or in remote mode (in Italy) if you are based far from these locations.
Responsibilities:
-
Contribute to design and implement our Cloud Solution -
Write software, from build system automation to automated deployment, to scale our engineering delivery
-
Bring in continuous deployment practices to enhance our Agile posture
-
Contribute to ideating, architecting, developing, deploying, and evolving CI and CD systems for our Cloud applications, proportionally to the level of experience
-
Write Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) using Industry standard tools and services
-
Write application deployment automation using industry-standard deployment and configuration tools
-
Design and implement continuous delivery pipelines that serve the purpose of provisioning and operating client test as well as production environments
-
Provide systems support including responding to monitoring alerts
-
Implement and stay abreast of Cloud and Dev Ops industry best practices and tooling
-
Work with developers to identify necessary Azure/AWS resources and automate their provisioning
-
Document automation processes
-
CI/CD infrastructure and process troubleshooting support (setting up in new projects)
-
Work closely with key stakeholders (developers) to capture, analyze, and derive Dev Ops requirements
You should have:
-
Experience using one or more cloud providers: Azure or AWS. Google Cloud Platform is a plus
-
Experience with IAC tools (Terraform)
-
Experience with Containers orchestration (such as Kubernetes, Docker)
-
Experience with Configuration management tools (such as Chef)
-
Experience with Source control management tool (Git)
-
Experience with Continuous Integration tools (such as Jenkins)
-
Experience with scripting (Bash)
-
Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
-
Demonstrable experience as Dev Ops or SRE (Site Reliability Engineer)
-
Attitude to work in team
-
Fluency in Italian and good knowledge of English
It is better if you also have knowledge of the following:
-
Experience working with Agile / Scrum frameworks
-
Familiarity with managed Kubernetes services (EKS, AKS)
-
Familiarity with service mesh, API gateway (Istio, Kong)
-
Familiarity with Git Ops practice and tools (Argo CD)
-
Familiarity with Elasticsearch stack (ELK), Grafana
-
Good Scripting skills (Ruby, Power Shell, Python).
-
Experience as a Developer (Java, Javascript, C#) is considered a plus
-
English classes and full access to E-learning platforms such as Pluralsight, Linked In Learning and Udemy.

Possibility of certification paths such as cloud providers certifications, Dev Ops certifications, Scrum master certifications, etc.
