仕事内容:
Teamwork, good communication and initiative are highly valued skills for in-house editorial responsibilities. Role duties include:

• Reviewing and providing feedback on the work of freelance experts (including editors and research consultants) in a wide range of scientific fields, but especially in the medical/clinical sciences

• Assigning editing and editing-related work to freelancers and participating in freelancer recruitment and on-boarding as needed

• Working closely with other teams (publication support, marketing, education, product) to provide highest-quality services and products

• Fielding client and freelance expert queries

Despite being a work-from-home position, the Researcher Services team is tight-knit, and includes staff from many different countries and backgrounds (Japan, Australia, England, Latvia, US, Iran, etc.).
For staff working near Fukuoka or Tokyo, we meet once or twice a year for company dinners, etc.

勤務時間・曜日:
We are currently looking for a full-time member of our Researcher Services team. This is a Japan-based, work-from-home position. The ‘Researcher Services consultant’ should be available to work during Japan business hours (Mon-Fri, 09:30-18:30 JST). Staff members take a one-hour break when suitable, i.e., there is no fixed lunch time.
休暇・休日:
Holidays include Saturdays, Sundays, Japanese New Year holidays and summer holidays. National holidays can be taken off or can be treated as working days with days taken off in lieu up to two weeks later.
Paid leave starts at 10 days per year after 6 months of employment and goes up to 20 days per year after 6.5 years of employment.
