We are looking for an experienced and well qualified PROCUREMENT OFFICER & INVENTORY CONTROLLER to join our team.
Location: Sharq, Kuwait city
Responsibilities include:
● Oversee inventory of products & packaging items and supply chain management according to company guidelines
● Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct amount of items are in stock
● Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle
counts
● Review documentation and monitor product codes to search for discrepancies;
troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records
● Respond to sales inquiries and purchase orders; collect and analyze data to
determine appropriate order quantities; process orders for shipment
● Review production requirements to ensure timely order fulfillment
● Track rates of accuracy, purchase and return as well as defective items to inform
quality control decisions
● Prepare, generate, and file financial inventory reports; review reports monthly with
management.
● Nurture positive relationships with suppliers- products and packaging, forecast and arrange orders to ensure to avoid Out of Stock or low stock situations. Tracking of shipments and informing the management falls under this responsibility.
● Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand for inventory of items and
jewelry and ensure that the organization maintains optimal stock levels to meet
customer needs
● Checking EO requests for Harvey Nicholas Kuwait and Harvey Nicholas Qatar and coordinating with their team to make sure accurate prices and qty required are sent in a timely manner.
● Maintain a neat, labeled warehouse at all times
● Arrange replenishment for branches with stocks and packaging items as and when required
Requirements:

• Minimum 3 yrs of experience in the same field
• Must have an Engineering/ Business degree
• Must be fluent in English
• Must be independent to find solutions related to this department.
• Must have the ability to learn new skills & absorb new knowledge quickly
• Should be well versed with formulas on Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
• Should have good Maths knowledge.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions
• Ability to prioritize tasks

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: KD350.000 - KD400.000 per month
