Project Manager - Mechanical

Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Conducting the technical feasibility for the Project and facilitating the financial feasibility.
- Defining project tasks and resource requirements.
- Developing, maintaining and abiding by the project plans and timelines.
- Reviewing detailed Mechanical (power & control) drawings, engineering drawings and layouts in accordance with the specific process requirements.
- Creating and reviewing of the contractual documents; tender documents, contractual submittals and other documents. Reviewing project specification, quotations, tender documents and project related submittals.
- Performing fieldwork necessary to gather data and site requirements needed to define the project deliverables and technical requirements & specifications. Perform and verify engineering calculations as required.
- Defining all project stakeholders and managing them effectively.
- Preparing and Managing Project Budget.
- Managing Project Procurement.
- Managing project resource allocation.
- Monitoring and reporting project progress of a project on timely basis.
- Defining the project risk register and managing the same throughout the project lifecycle.
- Managing changes within the project by means of effective change management.
- Supporting external project within the domain of my specialization.
- Supporting the competency development of my team.
- Complying with Health, Safety and Environment regulations and working practices of KDD and the State of Kuwait when carrying out duties.
- Executing Management directives as required.
Required Qualification:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, PMP Certification, Member of KSE is a plus. - Work Experience: 15 Years with Min 5+ Years of Experience in Mechanical Engineering Project Management
Required Professional Skills:
- Knowledge of Mechanical engineering principles and practices: This includes understanding the design, construction, and operation of Mechanical systems and equipment.
- Experience with Mechanical project management: This includes experience with planning, organizing, and executing Mechanical projects on time and within budget.
- Expertise in Mechanical engineering software: This includes experience with software that is used to design and analyze dairy processing equipment and facilities, such as Auto CAD or PC schematic.
- Knowledge of Mechanical codes and standards: This includes understanding and complying with local, state, and national Mechanical codes and standards.
- Proficient & hands-on knowledge in using and working with Auto CAD.
- Proficient in working with MS office and MS Project programs.
- PMP Certified is a plus.
- Member of KSE is a plus.
