As Cloud Architect, within our IT infrastructure team, this new role within our organization will be spitted in two main objectives. First one will be to help to review solution architecture in order to identify pain points and design or modify technical solutions to improve the company in its long-term technology strategy. The second one will be to act as an cloud expert, helping to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based solutions.

What will you do?

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement strategic solutions and algins with the organization’s business objectives;
• Connect with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify problem areas;
• Analyzing business structures and processes to identify opportunities for improvement or enhancement through technology;
• Design and test technical architecture for both traditional or cloud infrastructure;
• Deploy new applications to the cloud and migrating existing applications from on-premises infrastructure to the cloud;
• Ensure comprehensive IT documentation;
• Monitor the performance of cloud-based systems and optimize resources to ensure cost-effectiveness and high availability;
• Implement security measures like encryption and access controls and regularly audit the cloud environment to ensure compliance;
• Educate teams on cloud technologies;
• Evaluate existing and emerging technologies on a regular basis;
• Lead software standards to ensure compliance, security, and alignment with the organization's goals. This includes managing the software lifecycle, conducting audits;
• Collaborate closely with the local CISO and Risk Management Team to obtain Security requirements and take them into accounts in the delivrables.

To succeed in the various cloud engineer duties, professionals must possess a diverse skill set, including:

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
• In-depth knowledge of cloud computing platforms and services;
• Familiarity with Dev Ops practices and tools, such as continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD);
• Knowledge of networking concepts, such as IP addressing, DNS, and load balancing;
• Understanding of data storage and database technologies, such as SQL and No SQL;
• Exceptional analytical abilities with a keen attention for detail;
• Knack for finding creative solutions;
• Solid understanding of IT concepts;
• Strong interpersonal skills;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
