We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a talented Systems Administrator to join our dedicated team supporting major European Institutions in Luxembourg. This role is crucial for maintaining and optimizing our VMware NSX platform, which runs Linux virtual machines integral to the court’s operations.
As a Systems Administrator, you will ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, playing a key role in maintaining system stability, security, and compliance with the Service Level Agreement (SLA). This position demands a proactive individual with a strong technical background and the ability to work effectively in a high-stakes environment.
Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Over 5 years of experience in systems administration, particularly with VMware NSX and Linux environments.
- Proficiency in managing Linux-based systems, including advanced command-line operations and scripting.
- Experience in implementing and managing security protocols, ensuring system compliance with industry standards.
- Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery processes in virtualized environments.
- Fluent English, with strong communication skills.
- Manage, configure, and maintain the VMware NSX platform and Linux virtual machines.
- Perform routine system maintenance, including software updates and patch management.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
- Implement and enforce security protocols, ensuring compliance with the SLA and organizational standards.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations and procedures.
- Provide technical support and resolve issues related to both hardware and software.
