Having participated in key industry events like Home Dec and Archi Dex, we are now looking to capitalize on these connections and expand our presence in the Malaysian market.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Intern to help us further penetrate the Malaysian market. The intern will play a crucial role in following up on leads from industry events and establishing new connections with potential clients, architects, designers, and retailers. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience in a dynamic industry while working with a team passionate about sustainability and design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow up on contacts and leads generated from Home Dec and Archi Dex.
- Research and identify new business opportunities within the Malaysian market.
- Assist in developing and implementing strategies to increase market presence and sales.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners.
- Support in the preparation of presentations, proposals, and sales pitches.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing and design teams to align business strategies with product offerings.
- Contribute to market research and competitive analysis.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Interest in sustainability, design, and the lighting industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Fluency in English is required;
