Customer Service (Logistics Operations) - Contract

Logistics Operation (Customer Service)
Will be responsible for ensuring smooth communication with customers regarding their shipping needs, managing relationships with shipping carriers and logistics service providers, and coordinating import and export processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Communication:
Ø Communicate with customers to understand their shipping requirements, provide updates on shipment status, and address any concerns or inquiries.
Logistics Management:
Ø Liaise with shipping carriers and logistics service providers to negotiate proper rates, book shipments, and arrange for timely delivery of goods.
Ø Handle of shipping documentations, ensuring compliance with regulations and incoterms.
Ø Coordinate import and export processes to facilitate smooth and efficient movement of goods across borders.
Cost Management:
Ø Conduct cost simulations and analysis to provide accurate pricing information to customers and internal stakeholders.
Ø Monitor operational pricing and expenses to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize profitability.
Contract Coordination:
Ø Coordinate to new and existing contracts, including contract negotiations, amendments, and renewal if necessary
Ø Collaborate internal teams to ensure contract terms and conditions are understood and adhered to.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor Degree in Logistics Management or any related field.
- Working Experience: at least 2 Years Working Experience in the Logistics Industry.
- Language: Good Verbal and Writing Skills in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Melayu (Mandarin communication is required to liaise with customers from Mainland China)
- Working Location: Willing to work at KOTA KINABALU
- Working Day: Monday to Friday: Normal Working Hours (5 Days )
- Posses own transportation
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
