The Islamic investment industry is a fast-growing and dynamic sector within the Islamic finance space, with a ballooning pool of assets under management, reflecting a rapidly increasing demand for Islamic investment products. Yet this increased demand has not been matched by increased activity in the media space. IFN Investor, the new platform under the globally renowned IFN brand, is changing the landscape with a one stop editorial and data portal for all those involved or interested in the local, regional, and global Shariah compliant investment market. Additionally, IFN Investor the platform, is accompanied by a series of leading IFN Investor events in the core markets.
As a Financial Data Analyst, your primary responsibility is to analyze financial data as well as directing and performing all activities related to maintaining an efficient and comprehensive database of Islamic funds and investment data.
Responsibilities
Data Collection and Analysis:

Gather financial data from various sources, including company filings, government reports, financial databases, and market research tools.
Analyze complex financial data sets, identifying trends, patterns, and correlations.
Use statistical methods and data visualization tools to present data in a clear and easily digestible format.
Maintain and grow a working database.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, statistics or a related field
Strong financial acumen and a deep understanding of financial markets.
Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, such as Excel, Python, or Tableau.
Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to financial reporting and data usage.
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
