Contributes to the technical delivery of projects that generate new products, processes and understanding which have commercial value to JM. Works independently on specific engineering tasks within required time frame with support available and regular checks by supervisor or senior colleague

• Interface with technical staff of technical support centre and other JM sites for any new technology transfer to the plant.
• Create and update manufacturing procedures for the new technology transfer parts and Compile at least 5 batches of the new parts and conduct process optimization activities.
• Co-ordinate studies on process capability and optimization studies to facilitate continued improvement in the areas of process control and manufacturing efficiency.
• Solve and to troubleshoot production problems in all production areas (batching, application, materials control and etc.)
• Contribute and implement ideas to improve the reject level.
• Will assist the process manager and senior engineer to ensure effective manufacturing methods are implemented and understood by all other JM employees.

• 2 to 5 years in manufacturing environment with experience in chemical mixing and process trouble shooting skills.
• An aptitude for working with machineries and continuous process.
• The person must a Degree holder in Chemistry or Engineering
• Engage in conducting quality issues trouble shooting and analysis work.
• Pick up skills in organizing / arranging batching activities and negotiating timeline.
• Knowledge in statistical process control (SPC) and Minitab and AUTOCAD Drawing
