Procurement Risk and Control Analyst

Our client a global member-owned cooperative & world famous messaging systems is seeking a Senior Procurement Risk and Control Analyst in Kuala Lumpur.

What to expect:

Assist the Procurement Risk and Control Manager in overseeing all aspects of procurement risk management and control activities.
Act as a deputy to the Procurement Risk and Control Manager, stepping in as needed to ensure continuity and smooth operations.
Coach and mentor junior team members in procurement risk and control processes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement strategies for mitigating vendor-related risks.
Lead process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in vendor risk management processes.
Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues related to procurement risks and controls.
Maintain a critical mindset in evaluating procurement processes and making recommendations for improvements.
Foster excellent stakeholder management, particularly with senior management, to communicate risk insights and mitigation strategies effectively.
Support vendor risk management activities by conducting reviews of Inherent Impact Questionnaires (IIQ), initiating necessary due diligence, performing due diligence assessments, and completing vendor risk reports as needed.
Perform comprehensive financial due diligence or analysis on third parties, evaluating financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant financial documents within agreed SLA.
Analyze financial data to assess vendor profitability, liquidity and solvability and overall financial health.Maintain financial due diligence dashboard, policy and standard operating procedure, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Local and based in Malaysia

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM8,500.00 - RM12,900.00 per month

Application Question(s):

Perform financial due diligence / analysis on third parties, evaluating financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant financial documents within agreed SLA
Analyze financial data to assess vendor profitability, liquidity and solvability and overall financial health?
