As a Protégé in Quantity Surveying (QS) for a contractor, you will gain hands-on experience in managing costs and contracts for construction projects. This role involves assisting in the preparation of cost estimates, tender evaluations, contract management, and monitoring project expenditures, providing a solid foundation for a career in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
LOCATION : Gua Musang, Kelantan
Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets, helping to forecast and manage project costs.
• Support the tendering process, including evaluating bids and helping to negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Assist in managing contract variations, processing payments, and resolving contractual issues that arise during construction.
• Monitor and control project expenditures, ensuring they stay within budget, and assist in preparing financial reports.
• Participate in site visits to monitor progress, take measurements, and ensure accurate valuation of work completed.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of QS principles and construction processes.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
