Role Purpose

Key Accountability

• Collaborate with and lead Businesses, Subsidiaries and Business Units to complete their Risk Registers, Business Continuity Plans and Key Risk Indicators
• Analyse and evaluate risk data in risk registers to determine its accuracy to the organization and oversee the development of risk mitigation plans and strategies across MAG.
• Continuous surveillance of MAG's risk environment for the development of Key Risk Indicators and the monitoring of industry trends and regulatory changes to stay informed about emerging risks in the aviation sector.
• Plan, host, facilitate and conduct risk management trainings / awareness / workshops and advocate the value of effective ERM practices throughout the MAG Group.
• Promotion of risk culture across MAG through but not limited to awareness videos, bulletins and reports.
• Quarterly review and update of Risk Registers with BUs to prepare quarterly risk reports for the Board Governance & Risk Committee.
• Review Risk Data / Register for the preparation of bi-annual risk report for the Board of Directors.
• Train the Risk & Business Continuity Champions in MAG on the use of the Governance Risk & Compliance System. .

• Able to conduct training effectively and independently
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to interact well with all levels of employees and external parties
• Possess and demonstrate good leadership skills
• Good Critical thinking and Problem-solving skills
• Knowledge and understanding of the standards, laws and regulations in the aviation and risk industry.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken)

Key Challenges

• To attain collaboration and cooperation from respective entities with MAG Group - building trust
• Identifying risks, establishing ownership and quantifying the potential damage correctly
• Tracking risk development using data and observation of the risk environment
• Development of BCPs and action plans to mitigate risks
• Lack of reliable data & insufficiency of technology (MIS)
