How will you make an impact in this role?
The LACC Director of Recruitment role is an exciting opportunity to be a member of the GTA Team. The role is based in Mexico City (remit includes Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Canada) and reports directly into the VP of Global Talent Acquisition for the Americas. As the Director of Recruitment, you leverage your fundamental experience in leadership to oversee a professional team of talent acquisition partners, sourcers and coordinators to motivate them to drive results to the next level. You are responsible for working directly with CEG colleagues and business leaders to understand business priorities, hiring volumes, initiatives, and leverage these insights to develop and execute talent acquisition strategies to support hiring needs across your remit.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with CEG colleagues and business leaders to understand business priorities, hiring volumes, and initiatives. Utilizing these insights, you will develop and implement talent acquisition strategies that meet hiring needs across your remit. Building strong partnerships with business leaders will enable a proactive approach to talent acquisition, focusing on attracting diverse top talent.
You will also manage and lead several innovative projects aimed at transforming the Global Talent Acquisition team into a best-in-class function, aligning with the strategic imperatives of the 2023-2025 CEG strategy map.
By staying connected to the marketplace through benchmarking and networking, you will analyze recruitment and business trends, providing expert solutions to attract top talent while maintaining an external perspective.
Your insights will be crucial in recommending improvements to staffing processes, projects, and sourcing strategies that enhance talent acquisition efforts.
Core competencies in people leadership, process excellence, governance and org savvy, performance management, and the effective use of recruitment tools is essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and develop the talent acquisition recruiting team with rigor to achieve high performance against our ambitious hiring goals, while ensuring a robust governance framework is in place.
- Leverage internal and external data to extract insights and implement solutions as well as preparing and presenting robust and visually engaging presentations for diverse forums and audiences, including town halls, business unit and CSP updates, and leader forums.
- Identify future talent needs and collaborate with the GTA Center of Excellence (COE) and partner recruiting teams to maintain team staffing requirements, ensure system and capability needs are met, develop strong talent pools, and enable participation at external hiring engagements.
- Deliver a positive experience for all stakeholders—including candidates, hiring leaders, business and CEG partners, and talent acquisition professionals to foster a culture of hiring throughout the organization. This includes partnering closely with leadership to develop, optimize, and implement a streamlined and consistent recruiting process that encompasses talent attraction, candidate identification, assessment, offer proposals, negotiation, and onboarding, in partnership with the recruitment coordination post offer team.
Qualifications:
- First class relationship skills to interact at all levels.
- Previous leadership managing teams of 5+, preferably across multiple markets, with a thoughtful and deliberate approach to managing team members at a distance and a strong track record of developing talent.
- Excellent performance management of large teams spread geographically
- Strong influencing skills, interpersonal skills and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- People management experience and focus on developing talent.
- Fluency in English.
- Bachelor’s degree required in Psychology or Human Resources preferably.
