*Overview*
We are seeking a Retail Stocking & Delivery Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a well-organized and stocked inventory in a retail environment as well as making deliveries to clients.
*Duties*
- Responsible for stocking a designated section of the store. This includes making lists, pulling stock from the basement, stocking shelves. Any inventory discrepancies must be communicated to the Buyer.
- Inbound deliveries are to be carefully brought downstairs and put away in the proper section. Requires person to be able to move up to 40 pounds everyday, regularly.
- Daily maintenance includes stocking shelves with product, breaking down boxes, taking out trash, projects assigned by the stock manager, cleaning, etc.
- Responsible for delivering parcels to customers assigned by the on-shift manager.
- Ensure products are correctly priced and labeled
- Assist with organizing and maintaining the basement storage area
- Operate a hand truck to move stock
- Collaborate with the sales team to fulfill customer orders
*Requirements*
- Experience in inventory management is preferred
- Knowledge of retail sales practices is a plus
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous
- Understanding of shipping and receiving procedures
- Previous work in a stocking and retail setting is desirable
- Proficiency in retail math for pricing and labeling products
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 36 per week
