Function

To further strengthen our Corporate Strategy Team, we are actively seeking a talented

Corporate Strategy Consultant Junior/Mid-level (36/40 hours).

As a Corporate Strategy Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development and deployment of the overall corporate strategy and actively contribute to the execution of both new and existing strategic projects for the Triodos Group. Your responsibilities will also include providing strategic consultancy to the Executive Board, offering key insights and recommendations to drive the bank's long-term success.

• Leverage advanced financial analysis and (M&A) modelling skills to assess the financial impact of strategic decisions.
• Develop, lead, and execute strategic projects and workstreams within a multi-stakeholder environment.
• Identify opportunities to enhance the functioning of Business Units and Banking Business Units through detailed financial industry and product-market combination analyses.
• Engage in scenario analysis and deep dives to anticipate and prepare for various potential future business environments and organizational opportunities and threats.
• Develop strategic plans seamlessly aligned with our overarching mission, vision, and objectives.
• Continually refine and enhance our strategic approach through iterative cycles of development, deployment, and execution, ensuring adaptability to meet evolving business challenges and opportunities.
• Conduct thorough market and industry research to identify opportunities, risks, and trends that inform strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with finance teams to ensure alignment between strategic initiatives and financial goals.

• Mission: You have a strong understanding of and personal connection with the Triodos mission to endorse, carry out and apply Triodos mission. Able to preserve Triodos’ unique identity and ensure that the Triodos is innovative as a frontrunner.
• Organisation and project management skills: You thinks from the whole, set long-term strategy and focus on core issues, with pragmatism and commercial awareness. Zoom out and find meaning and logic in complex eco-systems. When faced with ambiguity or uncertainty you identify critical information and formulate timely response. Critical thinking, with passion and curiosity for the subject matter.
• Interpersonal skills: You influence and persuade different stakeholders to get things done, managing conflict effectively and directing energy to a shared solution. You demonstrate a growth mindset by dealing positively with change, learning quickly, experimenting and daring to make mistakes.
• Communication skills: You have an excellent ability to communicate effectively towards internal and external stakeholders. You are a good listener, admissible and open to ideas from others, and aspire collegial decision making. You can impactful communicate about various topics. You are a tactical connector, with excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Good numeracy and problem-solving skills, Power Point, Word and Excel
• Academic degree with expertise in the Financial Services sector and/or strategy consulting, with a minimum of 5 years of experience for the medior role and a minimum of 2 years of experience if you are interested in the junior role. Proven experience in developing company or product strategies within a Financial Services context.

The team
The primary goal of our Corporate Strategy Team is to contribute to the long-term success and sustainability of the entire organization. The team is dedicated to developing and executing strategies that align seamlessly with our overarching mission and vision. Furthermore, the team provides invaluable insights to the Executive Board and Supervisory Board, guiding strategic decisions and ensuring a forward-looking execution.
The Corporate Strategy team resides under the Corporate Development department and all team members report to the Head of Corporate Strategy.
