Customer Success Manager - Key Accounts Benelux

This role is offered on a hybrid basis from our beautiful canal Amsterdam office.


Your mission


As a Customer Success Manager Key Accounts in the Benelux market, you will be responsible for your own portfolio, managing and driving the expansion and renewal of our customer base (incl. cross- and upsells) as well as being a trusted advisor on their HR strategies. Successful team members are hands-on, have a high level of ownership, and are obsessed with giving our customers the best experience possible. At the same time, they are able to balance a high touch, one-on-one approach with a layer of scaled initiatives to deliver value for different customer needs.


While you will be mostly handling Dutch customers, there will be a mix of English speaking customers in your portfolio as well. This is an exciting career opportunity at a dynamic growth-stage scale-up where your contribution is directly visible at company level.



About the Team


Our Customer Success Managers are based in our Amsterdam office and our mission is to help our customers grow their teams and companies in the most efficient way. The key to unlocking this is building and maintaining a trusting relationship with our customers and together build a collaborative culture within their companies. We are not afraid to challenge the status quo to help our customers with their recruitment and HR strategies . Working with a dynamic Customer Success team provides an environment where collaboration, innovation, and a proactive mindset are highly valued.



Your 12-month journey


The first 2-3 months you will spend focusing on learning everything there is to know about the Tellent Suite: Recruitee, Javelo and Kiwi HR, understand the products, our processes, the teams, the customers and more. You will be working closely together with your onboarding buddy who will be at your side for questions, tips and tricks as well as the other team members. You will have received the first part of your portfolio and talked to your first customers!



After latest 3 months, you will have taken complete responsibility and ownership of your own portfolio, taken further steps in putting yourself on the map as a strategic advisor for your customers and started to learn more about the software and our product team.



After 1 year you have mastered your way in how we keep our customers happy by ensuring they get the full value from Recruitee. You have negotiated contracts, guided customers through their Key Account Journey, developed a deep understanding of our customers needs and had a huge impact by setting and completing goals together with the customers in your portfolio.



What you’ll do

  • Manage a book of 80-100 mid-market customers assuming responsibility for these customers reaching their objectives with Tellent.
  • Lead the commercial conversations related to renewals and most upsell opportunities.
  • Negotiate contracts and close renewal agreements.
  • Constantly assess your customers’ status through the help of tools and conversations to drive satisfaction, adoption, retention, and reducing churn.
  • Identify new sales and business development opportunities, working with the sales and strategic account management team to capitalize on them.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer goals and needs.
  • Master the Tellent software, working closely with the product team for feedback and future roadmap direction.

What you’ll bring to the team

  • 1-2 years of experience in Customer Success or Account Management at a Saa S company.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch, any other language is a bonus.
  • You excel in managing a high-touch client portfolio and successfully navigate through all stages of the client's lifecycle
  • Confident in a tech environment and comfortable with new software.
  • Your excellent interpersonal skills instill the necessary confidence to progress effectively with clients and high-level executives, providing a great customer experience.
  • Ability to identify and drive commercial opportunities, a sales background is beneficial.
  • Empathetic and persuasive, with a strong mix of emotional intelligence and business savviness
  • Any transferable skills that have been gained in client facing roles are welcomed
